Testimonials 2019

“Last year’s summit was bang-on in addressing the key issues and trends in the space of sustainable finance, and the decision makers sat up and listened. The whole financial community was there. Great event.”

“I think it is a great initiative for Biscay Government to organize this summit. I do think that to tackle ESG issues requires collaborations across governments, businesses, and academics from different regions. The first step is certainly to raise people’s awareness. This summit made an important effort to do so.”

Carmen Nuzzo
“The second edition of the Biscay ESG Global Summit was another important step in building what is gradually becoming a flagship event in Europe on ESG and sustainability topics. The variety of participants it attracted, from the private and the public sector, and the broad array of speakers is testament of the synergies that are needed among investors, companies and policy makers to ensure that financial capital is mobilized towards sustainable business and economic growth models. The positive energy that the summit generated was a reminder that ESG factors are not only risks but also opportunities.”
